We also went on Saturday. Not only was it a great track ( mini track was good too ) but the lodge was very nice. They had one of the ski lifts running, which was a interesting vantage point to watch the race. Racer X magazine was on-site and they have a nice article on their website. Below is a link to youtube of Jerry Lorenz taking the fast way around the track.

I really don't want to support a politics and hot topics area of this forum, but I am really P O'd about the 100cc and smaller bikes being shelved due to ignorance in the legislature.
Steve, thank you for bringing this to my attention. Shame on me for not paying attention to the AMA notices as they come to me.

The db rating is listed on the AMA website, which we have to follow. However, as of now we do not have a db meter. It will be required in 2010 tho. You need AMA card & District 14 card. If you don't have them, you can sign up for them at the race. You will need cash or check to pay for entry fees as we can't accept credit cards. That's really about it. Insurance card would be good to have in the unlikely event you would get hurt. I think that's about it.
Getting Back into racing and have a few questions! « Result #8 on Feb 15, 2009, 5:37pm »
Hey everyone! Last time i raced i was 9 years old and my last race ever was at Cadillac!! Its been so long and im really excited. I got a few questions thoe.
Does the track, and other tracks have a set dB rating? I know its a growing concern in Professional Motocross but what about the local events??
And one last one, do you guys have any tips on what i should bring come race day?? Like for signing up for my class's what all do i need besides my ama license, and fill out the wavier?? Will i need my insurance card?

D-14 « Result #10 on Dec 8, 2008, 7:13am »
We are on our way to being a D-14 track. We have been voted into the district & just waiting on the paperwork & formalities. So we're pretty much in! Stay tuned for more info!
